Welcome to my 2010 campaign for Talbot County Council. My web site provides an excellent opportunity to communicate, exchange ideas, and respond to questions or statements via My BLOG link.

I am very thankful for the more than 5000 people who voted for me during the 2006 Gubernatorial General Election on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006. I am deeply humbled by the support and confidence reflected in this level of effort.  I intend to win a seat on our County Council as a result of the General Election in Talbot on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010.

I grew up on my parents ranch in Ojai, southern California. I also grew up in 4H and raised two, championship Hampshire pigs (Ventura County Fair). Though we normally raised 200-300 head of cattle (Black Angus) we also grew feed for them as well as for our horses. 250 acres of the ranch was commercial citrus and avocados. I spent all my early life ranching until 9th grade, then worked on the ranch during summer breaks from school until College and the Air Force.

I entered the USAF in March 1961. I served as an Electronic Warfare Officer, fighter pilot/forward air controller and combat leader in Vietnam and spent more than 28 years in service to my county until I was no longer eligible to meet medical standards for flight, at which time I elected to retire in January 1988 and start my own company.  Though I sold the active components of my company early in 2006, I re-energized my company in June 2009 and the firm is now certified as a Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned small business.  I structured the company to ensure I will devote 100% of my time to Talbot County matters; and, as I did in 2006, I reaffirm this commitment for 2010.

I believe my 2006 campaign, my life experiences, and proven past performance as a business leader since 1988, a senior Military, Combat, and Defense Department civilian leader provide exceptional credibility and capability for serving on our County Council.
